The IDTERT kit is a ready-to-use multiplex assay for the detection and quantification by digital PCR of TERT (TElomerase Reverse Transcriptase) gene promoter mutations involved in the disruption of telomere length maintenance.
Distinction of C228T and C250T mutations of the TERT gene by liquid biopsy
The IDTERT kit is a ready-to-use multiplex assay for the detection and quantification by digital PCR of TERT (TElomerase Reverse Transcriptase) gene promoter mutations involved in the disruption of telomere length maintenance.
This optimized reaction system offers a multiplexed solution enabling simultaneous amplification, in a single PCR reaction , of the regions 124 and 146 base pairs upstream of the TERT gene START codon, corresponding to the C228T and C250T promoter mutations.
The kit can be used on circulating DNA samples (cf-DNA) extracted from plasma, or on genomic DNA samples (gDNA) isolated from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue.
