Distinction of R132X, R140X, and R172X mutations of the IDH1 and IDH2 genes by liquid biopsy
The IDIDH1-2 + R140X kit is a ready-to-use multiplex assay for the detection and quantification by digital PCR of mutations in the IDH1 (Isocitrate DeHydrogenase (NADP(+)) 1, cytosolic) and IDH2 (Isocitrate DeHydrogenase (NADP(+)) 2, mitochondrial) genes, including variants in the R140X region.
This optimized reaction system offers a multiplexed solution enabling simultaneous amplification of several variants of theIDH1 R132X region (R132H, R132C, R132S, R132G, R132L) andIDH2 R172X and R140X (R172W, R172G, R172K, R172M, R140Q, R140W, R140G, R140L) for each sample in a single PCR reaction.
The kit can be used on circulating DNA samples (cf-DNA) extracted from plasma or on genomic DNA samples (gDNA) isolated from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue.
