The IDFGFR1-CNS kit is a ready-to-use multiplex assay for the detection and quantification by digital PCR of recurrent mutations and tandem duplication of the tyrosine kinase domain (TKD) of the FGFR1 (fibroblast growth factor receptor 1) gene.
Distinction of mutations of the FGFR1 gene in the central nervous system by liquid biopsy
This optimized reaction system offers a multiplexed solution enabling simultaneous amplification in a single PCR reaction of the N546K and K656E mutations, exon 8 (non-duplicated reference) andexon 16 (duplication) of the FGFR1 gene for each sample.
The kit can be used on circulating DNA samples (cf-DNA) extracted from plasma or on genomic DNA samples (gDNA) isolated from formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue.
