ID SARS-CoV-2 / VOC Revolution Pentaplex is a ready-to-use RT-qPCR in vitro diagnostic test for the qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 viral RNA and screening for L452R, K417N and E484K mutations in the SPIKE gene.
System for qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 RNA and screening of L452R, K417N and E484K mutations by RT-qPCR
This qualitative Pentaplex system allows, for each sample and in a single reaction, the specific and simultaneous amplification of :
– three SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus target sequences (N, RdRP-1 and RdRP-2)
– three sequences coding for the spike protein (SPIKE – S), enabling detection of the L452R, K417N and E484K mutations. The test also detects a human genetic sequence (endogenous control) to check the presence of the sample.
Intended for in vitro diagnostic use (CE-IVD marked), the ID SARS-CoV-2 / VOC Revolution Pentaplex kit facilitates the diagnosis and management of patients with COVID-19.
