SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza A/B RNA detection and differentiation kit by RT-PCR
ID™ SARS-CoV2 / Influenza Triplex is a real-time RT-PCR-based standard detection kit targeting specifically SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza A/B viral RNA after extraction from patient samples. This test allows to differentiate seasonal influenza from SARS-CoV-2 infection.
It is a relative quantification triplex system that allows, for each sample, to simultaneously amplify specifically targets RNA (targets SARS-CoV-2 and Influenza A/B) and an endogenous internal control.
A dual-detection system that targets two specific sequences of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus, one at the nucleocapsid (N) protein-coding sequence level and one at the RNA polymerase (RdRp) protein-coding sequence level, ensures a high level of specificity.
A dual-detection system that targets one specific sequence of the Influenza A virus at the matrix (MP) protein-coding sequence level, and one specific of the Influenza B virus for non structural proteins (NSP) coding sequence, provides simultaneous detection of Influenza A et B.
Unique on the market : A Positive Extraction Control (PEC) allows to validate the extraction, the reverse transcription and the amplification process. An endogenous internal control, corresponding to a human gene guarantees the presence of the sample and the absence of false-negative results.
The ID™ SARS-CoV2 / Influenza Triplex kit is available for diagnostic (CE-IVD) purposes. The kit is compatible with the following instruments : LightCycler 96, LightCycler 480 II (Roche Life Science), CFX-96 Real-time PCR (Bio-Rad), ABI™ 7500, QuantStudio™5, QuantStudio™7 (Thermo Fisher), Rotor-Gene Q and AriaMx Real time PCR..
